5 Makeup Brands I Want To Try in 2020 | Annie's Noms

Hiya everyone, today I’m sharing with you five makeup brands I want to try in 2020! I try A LOT of makeup, but there are still brands that I haven’t tried and there are new ones popping up almost daily!

This year I want to set myself a challenge of trying these 5 makeup brands in the hope that I’ll find some new favourites! I love trying new makeup and I don’t like getting stuck in a rut when it comes to makeup. The brands I’m about to mention have been on my radar for a while, but I haven’t bitten the bullet and ordered anything yet, so let’s get into it!

PUR COSMETICS

Pur are a “clean” makeup brand and all of their products are formulated without parabens, alcohol, talc, gluten and BPA. They’re also vegan. Gone are the days where we were putting any old thing on our face with it being full of alcohol and pore clogging ingredients.

Pur came onto my radar in 2017 I think, but it wasn’t easily available in the UK for a little bit. Now we have a dedicated UK website and I’ve been browsing recently and coming up with a little wishlist of prudcts to try.

I’m still on a foundation kick, so their 4in1 Selfie foundation is top of the list of things I want to try! I’ve seen this foundation in lots of 2019 favourites videos recently and am desperate to try it for myself! I also want to try their 4in1 primer, Soiree diaries eyeshadow palette and blush palette.

COVERGIRL

Now this one is slightly more difficult to try as we do not get Covergirl in the UK. However, Amazon will ship some products here and I’ve found a shop on eBay who will ship to me too, so I’m fully intending to try this makeup brand in 2020!

One of my favourite Youtubers, Jessica Braun loves their Advanced Radiance foundation, so I want to try that along with the Simply ageless one and the primer. I also want to try the Exhibitionist mascara as I have heard great things about that! I saw their moisturising primer in people’s favourites too, so that’s going on the list. Covergirl is an affordable brand and I’m trying to try more drugstore makeup this year, so hopefully I can get hold of some of these products!

NABLA COSMETICS

I have added eyeshadow palettes and blush pans to my basket soooooo many times on Beauty Bay, but Nabla is one of those brands that I see something new come out somewhere and then it gets pushed down the list. However, this year, I really want to try their eyeshadows. They do singles and palettes.

I love the look of their Dreamy palette, it’s just gorgeous, so that’s on the list along with their single eyeshadows and blushes. Oh, and they recently released highlighters and they are STUNNING. Definitely ordering one soon.

VICTORIA BECKHAM BEAUTY

One of the more luxury makeup brands I want to try, Victoria Beckham Beauty launched last year and after seeing lots of reviews I am eager to give it a try! I love the packaging, it’s super luxe.

There’s an eyeshadow palette I want to try, an eyeliner and an lid lustre. The eye lustres are beautiful! I’m excited to see what else she comes out with this year!

WANDER BEAUTY

I’m not sure which brand I’m the most excited to try this year, but this is definitely up there. It’s only available at Net-a-Porter in the UK, but one day I will cave! I want to try their Nude Illusion foundation, Wanderess Eyeshadow palettes, BRB Multipolish and the Fast Lane Instant Facial.

I love the whole aesthetic of this brand, their range is not huge, but they have a real mix of skincare and makeup. I just love everything and if I won the lottery, I’d probably buy the whole range! The Instant Facial looks and sounds amazing and I’ve heard good things about the foundation too!

Sooooo, that wraps up todays post! What makeup brands do you want to try this year?
