Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers

25.11.19 By Annie N

Happy Monday! With Christmas just around the corner I thought I would put together a Gift Guide for those of you struggling to buy for your loved ones. I’m included in that!! I find it almost impossible every year to buy my husband and dad things. They have everything!

I feel like I have everything I need… but with beauty there are always new products coming out, so it’s pretty easy for me to find something I’d like for Christmas!

My husband finds me hard to buy for as he doesn’t understand anything about beauty, so I have to write a note with the exact thing, the colour and a direct link to the page so he can buy it for me. So, if you are worried about what to buy someone who loves beauty or you want to get them something you think they won’t have… I have you covered!

I’ve put together 12 of the best Holiday gifts I could find. From brushes to lipstick and everything in between, lets get into my Beauty Lovers Gift Guide!

Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers | Annie's Noms
  1. Herbivore Jewel Mini Box – £46 from Space NK
I bought this kit for myself and I LOVE it! It’s a great way to try loads of Herbivore skincare. It has two serums and 3 oils in and comes with a handy card to tell you which combination of products do what.
  2. MAC Lucky Stars Lipstick Kit (Warm) – £29 from LookFantastic
MAC lipsticks are a classic and every year they do a range of great kits for Christmas. This pack contains three neutral pink lipsticks and a cute pouch.
  3. Lumene Nordic C Glow Boosting Ritual Skincare Set – £32.90 from John Lewis
Lumene is a relatively new to the UK brand and I am dying to try their skincare! They have some great gift sets for Christmas, including this set which contains a cleansing balm, oil cocktail and moisturiser. This set is vitamin C based so great for brightening the skin during these cold winter months!
  4. Philosophy Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookie Bodycare Set – £25 from John Lewis
Every year Philosophy do some sort of cookie shower gel and every year I end up buying it as their shortbread cookie ranges smell SO good! Somehow they manage to get that baked cookie smell and it’s honestly the best I’ve smelled. Lots of brands do cookies and baked goods, but a lot miss the mark. This kit contains shower gel and body lotion, so your loved one will be smelling like cookies all Christmas!
  5. Hourglass Ghost Ambient Lighting Blush Quad – £45 from John Lewis
I got this palette as soon as it came out and it is stunning! If you have a blush lover in your life, I think they will love this because it has a nude, pink, peach and mauve blush which is every shade of blush you could ever need! Hourlass powders are also some of the best on the market, so this palette is great quality and gorgeous to look at!
  6. Laura Mericer Eyes of Gold Mini Caviar Stick Collection – £32 from John Lewis
The Laura Mercier Caviar sticks are a cult product, so many people adore them as it takes 5 seconds to do a beautiful eye look. This kit is great as it has 4 mini shades. One thing I find hard is to use up a full size eyeshadow stick, so mini ones are great as you get 4 shades to try and you won’t be wasting product!
  7. NARS Past Curfew Mini Eye Duo Set – £22 from John Lewis
NARS do little sets like this every year and they are a great way to try new products. This set includes a travel size of their Climax mascara and a High Pigment Longwear eyeliner.
  8. DIOR Diorrific Happy 2020 Lipstick – £34 from Debenhams
These lipsticks are stunning! There’s 4 shades and they are all so pretty to look at and gorgeous shades. They’re glittery and come in gold packaging. I got a Diorific lipstick for Christmas last year and I still wear it frequently; gorgeous shades and a gorgeous formula!
  9. Sigma Most Wanted Brush Set – £56.95 (prices vary, I’ve seen it at £51 and £48) from Beauty Bay
Sigma brushes are fantastic and I love the sets they do. This set contains face and eye brushes and is a great starter set for someone either starting out with brushes, or who hasn’t tried Sigma before.
  10. Peter Thomas Roth Mask-Erade Set – £17 from Selfridges
Peter Thomas Roth are known for face masks and this kit contains 5 types of mask for you to try. Their masks are normally in a big jar, so this kit with small tubes is a fantastic way to try different masks. I had a set like this 2 years ago and it’s still going strong. You actually get a decent amount of product in each tube. Their Pumpkin Enzyme mask is my favourite, it’s just fabulous!
  11. KIKO Magical Holiday Maxi Eyeshadow Palette – £22.99 from KIKO Cosmetics
This palette is so gorgeous and perfect for the holidays! It has mattes, shimmers and pearls in gorgeous pinky neutral hues. It’s wearable while still being fun for the holidays and I would love to get this wrapped up under the tree!
  12. Fresh Holiday Hydration Skincare Gift Set – £57 from John Lewis
This kit is fantastic and full of Fresh goodies! Fresh are another brand who do loads of gift sets at Christmas and it was hard to choose just one for this gift guide as they all look amazing! This set focuses on hydration which we could all do with in the cold Winter months. It includes a toner, mask, face cream and lip scrub all infused with rosewater

And that wraps it up! I hope this gift guide has been handy for you and I’ll be sharing some more in the coming weeks!
