I’ve nearly done it…

30.6.12 By Annie N

A whole month of posting every day! (Well bar one day, when I did say I wouldn’t be able to post) I’ve really enjoyed making time in to write everyday. I hope that you feel you’ve learnt more about me as much as I’ve liked putting myself out there and opening up about my experiences.

There’s been lots of food in between as well, which I hope you’ve enjoyed! I just love sharing my recipes and experimenting in my kitchen. I still have a long list of recipes to post and a heap load of flour and sugar to bake more things in the future so there’ll be no lack of posting!

Some posts have been more personal than others, I’ve finally admitted to myself and to everyone else that I have an eating disorder, which while being a weight off of my mind knowing I can talk about it, I still find hard to deal with everyday. Today in fact has been a pretty hard day, but I’m hoping tomorrow will be better.

I’m going to sit and relax tonight and enjoy the sunshine which seems to have stayed, despite it starting off wet this morning! I’ll have another recipe for you in the next couple of days.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day 🙂

I created this recipe as an alternative to the traditional Turkey Christmas Dinner. Stuffed with fresh fruit and served alongside honey roasted parsnips, this is succulent, tasty and festive and shows that you don't have to always follow traditions!

My Banana Caramel French Toast is super easy to make as it uses store bought caramel sauce to caramelize the bananas! The sweet, sticky caramel mix is then put on to crisp, fried Brioche to create a decadent breakfast!
