Happy Thursday everyone! Today I’m sharing my August/September Beauty Favourites! I wasn’t posting in August/September as we were moving house and decorating our old house for rental. However, there were some products I found throughout that period, that I absolutely fell in love with!
Some of these were from my collection and some are newer to me products. But I’ve been wearing them all non stop! Plus I’ve found a skincare item that has made a HUGE difference to my skin.
SO, let’s get into my August/September Beauty Favourites!

L’Oreal Paris Skin Paradise Tinted Moisturiser – £10.99 from Look Fantastic
What a find this product has been! I wore it all Summer and it ended up being the only base product I didn’t pack during the move! I have Holy Grail foundations, but in Summer I love lightweight bases with light coverage and this product is just that.
It makes your skin look so healthy and glowy. Most tinted moisturisers don’t last long on my skin, but this one wears more like a foundation. It lasts all day and wears beautifully. It’s got just enough coverage to even things out and it’s super hydrating. All that for under £11!
I’ve been so impressed by this product, I can see me running through and repurchasing it, which I’ve never done with any tinted moisturiser before! I have some that I like, but I’d never found one that blew my socks off. Until this one!
Such a good buy, I can see it working for all skin types, it has the lasting power of a foundation with the coverage and finish of a moisturiser. Can’t sing this products praises enough!!
By Terry Cellularose CC Serum in Immaculate Light – £61 from Look Fantastic
Now, we’re headed up the other end of the spectrum, this is a pricey purchase, but I now get what all the hype is about with this product!!
Although pricey, this is worth every penny and you can use it in a lot of different ways, so you’ll get plenty of use out of it.
You can use it alone, as a primer, as an add in to your foundation, it’s just beautiful. I love to wear this alone on “no makeup makeup” days. It makes you look like you are lit from within, there’s no coverage per se. But it does something. I can’t put my finger on it, but it makes my pores look almost non existent, it evens everything out, my skin looks smooth and radiant with this product.
I usually just add a little concealer, a slick of mascara, blush and lip balm when I wear this product and I’m good to go.
It comes in 4 shades as well, so you’re bound to find one that works for you. There’s a peach one, pink one and bronze one. I went for the lightest shade, since I’m pale as paper and I just love it. It doesn’t change how your foundation performs when you add in, it just makes it more glowy which I also love.
All in all, if you can get your hands on this, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I managed to get 20% off this product, so it wasn’t quite as pricey!
Farsali Liquid Glass – £20/£50 from Look Fantastic
Farsali is one of those brands that intrigues me as their products are so different. I have also tried their Skin Tune Blur which I liked, but wasn’t bowled over by. However, I have been super impressed with this Liquid Glass. There are two prices listed because you can buy a 10ml bottle and a 30ml one. I buy the 10ml first to see if I like the product.
Glass Skin is something that has come over from Korean skincare. It’s where you layer hydrating products to give you flawless, dewy skin that reflects like glass.
My skincare regime does include quite a few Japanese and Korean products and I have done posts before on my must have Asian skincare, but I don’t actively try to get glass skin. I like to layer lightweight products usually because my skin doesn’t like heavy formulas, but this product is like a cheats way of getting that gorgeous glass look.
With the Farsali Liquid Glass, I use it as a serum/primer. It’s a little sticky, but it really grips your foundation. This is a very lightweight formula with shimmer. It spreads well, so you only need a few drops and it evens out pores and skin in general while giving it a gorgeous sheen.
When you put your foundation on top, you still see the glow from the Liquid Glass and it manages to do it without making you look greasy. I find my foundation lasts really well with this and it doesn’t get too dewy. If you have really oily skin, you might not like this product, but I have combo skin and I don’t find it to be an issue.
Nudestix Tinted Cover – £32 from Cult Beauty
I’ve wanted to try this product since it came out. But it was one of those products that kept getting bumped down the list as new things came out. However, I finally ordered it when they released their new Nudefix concealer (more on that in a minute!).
This product is stunning!! The coverage is light, but it blends effortlessly and has a gorgeous, natural finish. It just looks like your skin, but better! It lasts great on me, I find it really easy to wear and you can dress it up or down. You can easily add more coverage with concealer and make this into a full face. However, it’s also perfect for light makeup days, where you just need a little bit of smoothing out.
Are you noticing anything about all these base products haha?! They’re all lightweight, light coverage and radiant. My skin has been doing so much better in the last couple of months, plus it was Summer, so I’ve been all about light coverage.
Just something to note: this product is scented. So if you’re sensitive to fragrance, maybe give this a pass. It’s not overpowering, but you can smell it. I was a little worried that I may have issues, but my skin has been fine.
Nudestix Nudefix Cream Concealer – £24 from Cult Beauty
Let’s talk about this concealer now. Oh my gosh, I adore it!! I’ve used nothing but since I got it! It’s so beautiful on the skin, it doesn’t crease, it’s lightweight, but still has good coverage. What’s not to love?
I can use this on acne and under my eyes and it lasts so well. I don’t find many concealers that work both under my eyes and on acne, but this is one of them. It’s not the highest coverage concealer I own, but it covers enough. I do have quite dark under eyes and I’m at peace with the fact I’ll never be able to 100% cover them.
This covers my circles really well, you can see a hint of shadow, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I’m more than happy with this level of coverage because of the performance of the product.
Nudestix have knocked it out of the park with this concealer. It somehow manages to stay creamy and hydrating all day, it never looks heavy or cakey or dry. It’s come in and straight away gone into my top 5 concealers. It’s on track to make it into my end of year favourites!
Estée Lauder Futurist Aqua Brilliance Watery Glow Primer – £30.50 from Estée Lauder
Another primer I’ve been loving, but this is a traditional primer. The other two I’ve mentioned are hybrids between serum and primer. I absolutely adore the Futurist Hydra Rescue Foundation, so when I saw they were releasing a primer to go with it, I knew I had to try it!
This is actually unlike any other primer I own. It’s an odd one when you first use it, but really refreshing on the skin. It comes out like a milky gel and then when you start applying it, it suddenly feels like water. The name really is a reflection of the product!
I’ve used this under the Futurist Hydra Rescue and under other foundations and it’s really good!! Up there with the Urban Decay All Nighter Primer, which is my current Holy Grail. It grips your foundation all day and wears beautifully. Every foundation I’ve tried this with has lasted fantastically; not overly oily, not caking up or sliding about or disappearing. Your foundation looks great all day with this and it’s lovely and hydrating.
Natasha Denona Glam Palette – £60 from Look Fantastic
I recently shared my first impressions and swatches of this palette and the love affair has continued! This is the palette that answered all of my cool toned dreams. I love cool eyeshadows as they go much better with my colouring. The formulas in this palette are insanely good. The shimmers are the best I’ve EVER used!
You can create some stunning looks with this palette and I think it’s beginner friendly as well. The mattes blend themselves; I’ve never had a bad eye look with this palette and I’m no makeup artist! This was the first bigger palette I’ve bought from Natasha Denona and I definitely would buy one again. The quality is fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this palette to anyone wanting an every day palette that is easy to use.
MAC Glow Play Blush in Blush, Please – £24 from MAC Cosmetics
I know I go on about these blushes all the time, but they’re just amazing. The formula is perfection and I’m slowly adding more and more colours to my collection! This colour is the perfect one for Autumn as it has a gorgeous mauve tone.
This particular colour is super pigmented, so you only need a light hand. It builds beautifully and is really easy to apply. I love darker, mauve blushes in Autumn, so I’ll be wearing this for the foreseeable future! The next colour on my list to buy is Grand. I’m going to try and hold off until Black Friday, but I keep adding it to my basket as it looks like the perfect mid toned blush pink with a tiny hint of mauve.
L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in Only in Paris (shade 112) – £8.99 from Look Fantastic
WHY am I so late to trying these lipsticks?!?! They’re absolutely glorious. They smell fruity, they are so creamy and pigmented. This is a real throw it on quickly kind of lipstick. They make your lips look so healthy and shiny. They’re not long wearing, but that’s not what I look for in lipsticks. I’m all about comfort and this formula is so comfortable.
This particular colour is a bit more Summery; it’s a pinky peach, however, I don’t care. I can’t stop wearing this lipstick, new favourite lipstick formula as so affordable! I can’t wait to try more shades.
So there we have it, my August/September Beauty Favourites! What products have you been loving recently?
