GOOD MORNING!

Are you excited for summer?! I’m excited for all the recipes!! I find Summer fruit so pretty to photograph! And it’s also the perfect time for homemade ice cream!

I would love to be able to go out and enjoy the sun, but the fact I have the skin tone of a ghost means that even with SPF50 on I can pretty much watch my skin burn, so I’ll stick to the shade… I hear tomato red skin isn’t really in!

Do you have any major plans for Summer or are you just looking forward to some down time with family? I’ll be working a lot, but since I work from home mostly I do still get to enjoy some time relaxing with a good book! I finally feel like I’m getting some kind of work/life balance now! I know I work best in the mornings, so that’s when I get the most important things done, I then leave social media tasks to the afternoon where I can watch some TV whilst scheduling stuff.

I have a tendency to still over work myself, but I’m really trying to have at least one day off a week! How do you strike a balance between family life and work? Any tips for me – whilst I love working from home, sometimes it’s annoying as you can never switch off properly!!
