A relaxing day reading :)

12.6.12 By Annie N

I’ve finally got round to reading 50 Shades of Grey as I’ve heard everyone talking about it for ages! I knew that I just had to read the trilogy and I’m so glad I did!

I finished Book 1 last night and started Book 2 straight after. Today, I painted the downstairs W/C and then spent the rest of the day reading! A blissful way to spend a day I think!

No, it’s not Shakespeare and sometimes the words can get a bit repetitive like the phrase “oh my”, but it is a very good read. I like the fact I can’t guess what’s going to happen next, with finding out more about the mysterious Mr Grey. I always find I get bored with a book if I can just see exactly what is going to happen, although usually continue reading as I have this thing that if I start a book I have to finish it!

I always find myself doing this with series as well. I’ve read a lot (and I’m talking thousands) of books and a lot are in long series, if the first few are amazing, I keep reading even if the later books aren’t as good because I find myself wanting to find out how series finish. This is exactly what the authors want of course, you to read their books! I’m a total dream for an author, if I’ve read the first one, I’ll read the rest, you’ve got me!!

Another recipe coming tomorrow, so enjoy the rest of your evening 🙂
