Hiya everyone, hope you’re having a good week. I have a first impressions and wear test today of the new Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint to help you work out if you need it or not!
I am so into skin tints and light coverage at the moment, so as soon as I saw that Fenty were releasing the Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, I knew I had to try it!
This is advertised as a lightweight, flexible, blurring skin tint that’s easy to wear and instantly blurs your skin. I’ll be breaking down cost, packaging, the claims and whether it lives up to them, plus a wear test. So, let’s get into it!

COST
The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint is £25 for 32ml of product. This works out to be £0.78 per ml.
The average foundation is 30 ml, so you are getting slightly more product with this skin tint. Since this is light to medium coverage, you may use more than you would with a solid medium coverage product. However, I normally don’t build products up, so only used a pea sized amount.
You can purchase the Eaze Drop Blurring Skint Tint from Fenty Beauty, Boots or Harvey Nichols.
PACKAGING
This skin tint comes in a sturdy squeeze bottle. With some foundations/skin tints that come with small nozzles and squeeze bottle, when you shake them product leaks into the lid. With the Eaze Drop this doesn’t happen which is a bonus!
I love the look of this bottle, it’s simple, but different. The nozzle is tiny so you can get a precise amount out. It doesn’t splatter or shoot out, it’s very smooth. I think if the bottle was super soft it might come gushing out as the product is quite runny.
Another problem with packaging like this is lots of air being stuck in the tube. Happy to report, no such issues with this tint either!
SHADE RANGE
The Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint comes in 25 shades. Fenty is known for its amazing shade ranges, Their foundations come in 50 shades normally. However, with a lighter coverage product, shades tend to be more flexible. Fenty posted a handy chart to help you find a shade match if you already have one in their Hydrating or Matte foundations.
I think the shade range is pretty good. There is quite a jump between some of the fairest shades and a couple of the light/medium shades are almost identical. The range is a little medium shade heavy, but I do think they’ve done a great job with deep shade. The deepest shade is really deep which is great.
This is shade 1. It says that shade 1 is for cool/neutral undertones. Shade two is meant to be for neutral undertones, but it looked way too dark for me and too warm. I am a true neutral and anything too pink or too yellow looks really funky on me. I would say shade 1 is a pretty darn good match for me and I would say it’s neutral. It doesn’t look too pink or warm.
CLAIMS
- Instantly blurred skin in just a few drops
- Light to medium coverage
- HydraBlend complex for a “hydrating and diffused effect”
- Smooth texture that layers with skincare and primers
- Transfer, humidity and sweat resistant
- Evens out complexion
You do only need a few drops to cover your whole face and it is somewhat blurring. It’s not a magic wand, if you have large pores, you’ll still have pores visible. However, it does smooth over the pores and doesn’t just sit/pool in them. So yes, it doesn’t make the pores obvious, therefore I’d agree it blurs slightly.
I am not usually one to build products up, however I did build this up just a little around my chin/lower cheeks as I’ve got some acne going on. It did layer beautiully, it didn’t sit on top of the previous layer or anything. You wouldn’t have been able to tell that I added more which is great. It just blended right in.
This doesn’t cling to dry patches at all which is great! So I do agree its hydrating. It’s a strange one because the finish is quite natural matte, but it manages to be really quite hydrating! Normally you expect more matte products to cling to dry patches and not be super hydrating, but happy to say that this is both matte and hydrating!
I layered this on top of my normal SPF (Skin Aqua Moisture Milk) and the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer. It didn’t pill or sit weird on my skin. It was super smooth and easy to apply, blending very quickly and easily over the primer and SPF.
Now, for a claim I don’t 100% agree with. I don’t think this is transfer proof entirely. It’s pretty good, but if you wear a mask for a long period of time, it will transfer. Humidity wise (from breathing inside your mask) I would agree it doesn’t slide off or disappear because it’s humid. It just transfers lightly to the mask. A quick reblend with a finger and it’s great again. I also did a sweaty 30 minute boxing workout and this was sweat proof. It didn’t budge at all and looked just as good as when I’d applied it.
The final claim is that it evens out the complexion. I would agree with this too, it evened out the redness on my cheeks and some of the redness around my acne in a few drops. Considering the lightweight texture, I was really impressed with how little product it took to make a noticeable difference to my redness!
APPLICATION AND WEAR TEST
I applied this with my fingers on one side and a brush on the other. It applied well with both. I happen to prefer applying my base products with a dense buffing brush and then I use a damp sponge to really press the product in. I find this usually looks the best as I do have some large pores.
This product, however, looks the same, be it with fingers or brush application which impresses me in itself because I normally always have to use a brush and sponge.
Since this is only a first impressions, not a full on review I do want to come back after testing with other primers to update you on how it wears. For now, I used the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Primer to do this wear test.
I did an 8 hour wear test along with a boxing workout and evening walk with my husband, so it didn’t have an easy day!
The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint wore beautifully for around 7 hours before becoming slightly more visible around the bottom of my nose and on my chin. It started to separate slightly and look a little heavier on the skin. It did keep my oils are bay really well. I didn’t set this skin tint as I wanted to see how it wore alone. I wasn’t overly shiny or oily by the end of the day.
This is not the longest wearing product I own, however, it is like wearing nothing which is going to be glorious in Summer, so I can still see me getting so much use from this product! It looks really beautiful on the skin, I checked in throughout the day and it looked like I was wearing nothing and it was just my skin. Until we got past 7 hours, then like I said, I started noticing it more.
Around my eyebrows, forehead and on my nose/cheeks this looked amazing. You couldn’t tell I was wearing anything, even at the 8 hour check in. It didn’t settle into any fine lines, it didn’t cake up around the sides of my nose, it really was just like I was having a really good skin day.
I will say, on my chin and around the bottom of my nose, I had concealer on, so it could have been the mix of the skin tint and concealer that made those areas slightly more noticeable. When I try this with different primers, I will also try a different concealer and/or not wearing one to see how it wears. I was just desperate to get my first impressions up so I could help you decide if you needed this product or not!!

SO, DO YOU NEED THIS SKIN TINT?
I’m really impressed with this skin tint. It’s so lightweight and the texture is lovely and smooth. No, it doesn’t wear the longest on my skin, but while it is in its prime, it’s stunning on the skin! It really is the perfect base product for warmer weather. I think it looks especially beautiful after a couple of hours when your natural oils just peek through a tiny bit. I never got super oily with this product, but of course a little bit came through. It added to the product if anything.
I was also really impressed with how it wore through my workout. I even patted my forehead and above my lip a coupld of times because I was sweating and it still didn’t budge or disappear. After I cooled down, it looked like I hadn’t done anything more than just walk round the house!
So, do you NEED this skin tint? If you have a large collection of foundations like me, probably not. However, this is my job and testing foundations is one of my favourite things to do. If you are looking for an easy to wear, perfect for summer, lightweight skin tint that actually has some coverage? Then this could be the perfect product. I think it would work great for all skin types.
My face at the moment is drier than it normally is (and has more acne than normal), yet this didn’t cling to any dry patches that were there. I’ve also got redness from that acne and have larger pores and oily patches. This did an excellent job of evening everthing out! It made my skin look like I was having an amazing skin day. The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint definitely gets my seal of approval, Fenty have done a fabulous job with this product and I see myself wearing it all Summer!
