Hi guys, today I’m sharing my Holiday Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers! I obviously love makeup and skincare, so this is always my favourite Holiday Gift Guide to put together! I’ve been trying to find the best makeup and skincare sets, along with cute limited edition stuff.
Sometimes there can be great savings when buying sets. One of the sets I’m about to mention is the Nars mascara set. The full size mascara is £22 normally, but this year they have a set that has a full size and mini for £20!
I’ve tried to find a real mixture of skincare and makeup as Christmas sets are a great way to try lots of new things. I love skincare minis so that I can have a good try before deciding to buy the full size. Same with makeup, plus I have such a large makeup collection, I won’t finish a full size of everything. Things like the Nars Mascara I will, as it’s the only mascara I use, but things like the Laura Mercier Cavia Sticks? The minis are just fine as I only have two eyes!
I really hope you manage to find something for the beauty lover in your life with my Holiday Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers!

- Biossance Uplifted and Bright Kit – £55 from Cult Beauty.
I have a few bits from Biossance and have been impressed with what I’ve tried so far, so I thought this kit was amazing. I’ve wanted to try the Vitamin C oil since it first came out and I’m interested in their squalane and retinol serum too. You get a full size vitamin c oil, mini phyto retinol and omega repair cream in this set. Biossance is not a cheap brand, so this is actually pretty good value! - Kora Organics Instant Facial Glow on the Go – £32 from Space NK.
I have the Kora Noni eye oil and it’s lovely. It’s made me want to try more from Kora and this kit caught my eye. It includes the Turmeric Brightening and Exfoliating Mask and the Noni Glow Facial Oil in. Again, Kora is not a cheap brand, so I think Christmas gift sets are a great way to try some products from the line at a lower price. - Kri Dual-Action Organic Face Cloth x3 – £10 from Kri Skincare.
I have loads of these cloths and they’re my absolute favourite face cloths. They wash well and they have a super soft side and a muslin type side for gentle exfoliation. I’m a big lover of Kri Skincare anyway, their Endless Face Cream is my Holy Grail night cream and their Prickly Pear oil and Unveil Oil to Milk cleanser are great too. They’re an Essex based, clean skincare brand and I’ve been impressed with every product I’ve tried from them! - Laura Mercier Grand Overture Mini Caviar Eye Set – £27.20 (normally £32) from John Lewis.
As I was saying above, I would never be able to finish a full size one of these caviar sticks, let alone four. So, this mini set is just perfect! It’s a quartet of their best selling colours I believe and they are all super wearable and pretty. I have asked for this set for Christmas, so let’s hope I get my hands on it! - Living Proof Volume In an Instant Set – £30 from Cult Beauty.
I have heard some seriously great things about the Living Proof volume spray. I need all the help I can get with my hair as it’s so flat, but I thought this was a great kit to give their volume spray a try! - Nars Climax Uncensored Set – £20 from Cult Beauty.
This was the set I was talking about above, where a full sized Nars mascara is normally £22, but this set has a full size of the new XXL mascara and a mini of the normal Climax mascara for £20. I know my husband has got me this set and I can’t wait to try the XXL. The red mascara is the only mascara I use and the XXL is meant to be it on steroids! - Rephr The Complete Collection – $240/£182 from Rephr.
Now this is the most pricey item in this Holiday Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers. However, if you have been desperate to try either Rephr’s brushes, or Japanese made natural hair brushes, this set is great value. The overall value is over $400 and I am so tempted to buy it. I’ve wanted to try natural hair bristles for a while, but I tend to go for more affordable brushes. (I’ll be sharing a more affordable set later on). - The Ordinary The Balance Set – £23 from Selfridge’s.
This is a great value set of some of The Ordinary’s most loved products. I’ve been desperate to try the squalane cleanser, but I’ve been testing quite a few new cleansers recently (now my skin is back to nomal and I’m not just having to treat acne!). I just haven’t got round to trying The Ordinary’s one yet! But, I do have the Salicylic Acid Masque and I love it. I don’t need to use it all the time, but when I feel like my skin is getting a little clogged, I use the Salicylic Acid mask and there’s a noticeable difference the next day. - Too Faced Salted Caramel Mini Palette – £22 from Cult Beauty.
These Too Faced mini palettes are amazing! I buy at least one every year and the formula is always amazing. They smell divine, they’re compact, but versatile. What’s not to love? They’d make such a perfect gift! - Nars Free Your Mind Mini Lipstick Coffret – £26.40 (was £33) from Nars.
I have so many lipsticks, I don’t know what to do with them. So, a mini set of four is the perfect way to get a variety of shades, while not having four big lipsticks that will go off before you can use them. I love this set as it’s a mixture of reds, pinks and nudes. - Laura Mercier Mini Body Souffle Quartet – £40 from Feel Unique.
These Laura Mercier Body Souffle’s are divine! The large sizes are pretty pricey (£53 each – ouch!), but I thought this set was good as you get four different scents. There’s Ambre Vanille, Fresh Fig, Creme Brulee and Almond Coconut. They all sound dreamy!! I bought a big Creme Brulee for my mum a couple of years ago and she loves it! Almond Coconut sounds utterly divine, so I might see if this goes into the sale after Christmas! - Sol de Janeiro Exotic Escape – £12 from Space NK.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, this little set from Sol de Janeiro is affordable and the perfect way to try two of their most popular products. I’ve wanted to try the Bum Bum cream for years, but I was worried in case I didn’t like it, that I’d be left with a big jar. This is a great little stocking stuffer or gift for a friend! - Fresh Mini Loves Mask Set – £49 from Space NK.
Every year Fresh release a mask kit with their best loved masks and this year is no different. I’m pretty sure I featured a mask set last year, but maybe it was a cleanser. Anyway, Fresh are famous for their Soy face cleanser and face masks. I love getting mini face mask sets as I love trying new masks, so this would make an amazing gift for the skincare obsessive in your life! - Zoeva Complete Brush Set – £105 from Beauty Bay.
I have loads of Zoeva brushes and they’re my favourite brand for affordable, decent brushes. Their Silk Finish brush for foundation is the absolute best I’ve ever used. I love their eye brushes. They wash well, they don’t shed bristles. I’ve never had one break and I’ve had my oldest set for about 7 years. These are so worth the money and they often do different sets with different colour handles. The Christmas set for this year had gold ferrules and burgundy handles. I want them so bad, but I really don’t need more brushes and they’re sold out now! - Philosophy Purity Made Simple Set – £42 from LookFantastic.
The Philosophy Purity line is really amazing for clearing out clogged pores. There’s a pore clearing mask which I’ve wanted to try for years along with a cleanser and moisturiser in this set. You get really decent sizes which would last you a good month or more. So I think for the price, this is a great value set! - Fenty Beauty Glow Trio Face – £35 from Boots.
Oftentimes with makeup gift sets, there’s one or two items you’re not really interested in. However, with this Holiday Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers, I’ve really tried to pick sets where all the items interest me and I think they’ll interest you. It’s the same with this kit from Fenty; it includes a gloss bomb lip gloss, cream blush and highlighting powder. I’ve wanted to try all three of these products from Fenty for ages and this is a great value kit to try out the formulas.
So, there we have it, my Holiday Gift Guide for Beauty Lovers! This one has been intense, but super fun to put together! I really hope you’ve found something great!
