HAPPY JULY!
I seriously cannot believe it’s July!!! Oh my gosh. We are officially more than half way through 2016! That is a seriously scary thought!
I’ve been trying to slow down this week as my back and knees have been playing up again, so although I’ve been busy-ish, I’ve been trying to have a couple of hours to myself in the afternoon after client work.
We’ve had a bit of a time with our dog Poppy too. She was acting really strange last week. She was so restless and just kept walking around and “talking” to me. Then she’d pant lots and would not sit down until I sat on the floor with her. She’s had arthritis for years, so we took her to the vet and he thinks it was just flaring up and she was in pain, so we have some painkillers for her and they seem to be working so far.
I think it’s pretty good that she’s got to age 13 with no medication, but she definitely had us worried last week. Then when she started feeling better, she started running around and did too much again. It’s so hard to get her to calm down and understand that even though the pain has gone, she can still over do it and then suffer. I so wish she understood me when I said calm down!
She seems to have calmed down the past couple of days though and she’s back to her normal, bouncy self which is good! Anyway, I hope you have a lovely weekend and enjoy partying with us this week!
