The Pretty Pintastic Party #51

24.4.15 By Annie N

Good Morning!

A very Happy Friday to you! I am so glad this week is over, it’s been an emotional roller coaster!

As long standing readers of my blog will know, I have chronic back pain, caused by an injury 5 years ago. Well, for the last 5 years I’ve been fighting to find out what is really going on in there and on Tuesday I got the beginnings of an answer and it was way more scary than I thought it would be.

At first, I was so relieved that my X-ray had shown anything at all and that the Doctors were finally taking me seriously and not just thinking it was in my head, but the last few days, I’ve been struggling with the fact that my back is degenerating and whilst it can be managed, at the end of the day, I’m stuck with this for life and it’s going to get worse.

And this is only the X-ray results. Now I have to be referred elsewhere and hopefully sent for another MRI (my last was 5 years ago and a lot has changed since then) so then I’ll find out what is going on in the soft tissues and with my discs.

So, yes. A hard week. I’ve been trying to rest, but I am rubbish at doing nothing.

However, that does mean I have longer to look through all of your link ups, so happy linking up!
